In order to generate traffic for this site, slapstarter is hosting a video competition. This will be a progressive multilevel contest.

#1 The leading contestant on April 1 will receive $1000.
Dates will be adjusted according to when contest actually gets kicked off. (Probably 30 days)

#2 The first contestant to reach 1,000,000 votes will receive $1000.

#3 If a total of 5,000,000 votes is reached by April 1, the contestant with the most votes will receive $2000. Second place contestant will receive $1500. Third place will receive $1000. The next five contestants will receive $250 each.
So it's possible for one contestant to win $4,000 the first month.

#4 If a total of 10,000,000 votes is reached by May 15, the contestant with the most votes at that time will receive $3,000. Second place contestant will receive $2000. Third place will receive $1500. The next five contestants will receive $500 each.

#5 If 20,000,000 votes are reached by June 31, the contestant with the most votes at that time will receive $4,000. Second place contestant will receive $3000. Third place will receive $2000. The next five contestants will receive $500 each. At this point contestants not in the top ten will remain in this contest but will also be entered into contests supporting other projects.

#6 If 100,000,000 votes are reached within this year (2018), the contestant with the most votes at that time will receive $10,000. Second place contestant will receive $5000. Third place will receive $3000. The next five contestants will receive $750 each.

If that 100,000,000 votes weren't reached until the following year (2019), the contestant with the most votes at that time would receive only $5,000. Second place contestant will receive $2000. Third place will receive $1500. The next five contestants will receive $500 each.

#7 However if a total of 200,000,000 votes were received by Dec 20, 2018, the leading contestant would receive $30,000. Second place contestant will receive $20,000. Third place will receive $10,000. The next five contestants will receive $5000 each.

#8 If that 200,000,000 vote total was reached anytime in 2019, the leading contestant would receive $20,000. Second place contestant will receive $10,000. Third place will receive $5000. The next five contestants will receive $1000 each.

Contestants must be 18+ y/o.

Slapstarter requires a minimum of 10 contestants to kick this project off. More contestants will result in higher totals equaling higher prize money. Entry fee....recruit one or two friends in order to reach that minimum more quickly.

Interested parties should send a photo/photos along with pertinate information (including age) to cgplg100@yahoo.com

This photo will be posted on the slapstarter site and linked to your video so it should be a good representation.
Emails without a photo attached will not be opened. Emails without information will be deleted. Include your friends names for credit. Include any questions you might have.

If accepted you will be notified to send your video to slapstarter to be uploaded to the internet. This assures everyone gets started at the same time as the website is updated.

Contestants can wear whatever, however they want. Contestants should start their video by stating "Hi, my name is (first name only) and I'm participating in a contest hosted by slapstarter.com"

The video should be in the range of 3-5 minutes. It can include photographs (slideshow) but should end with a video stating that you hoped they enjoyed your video and can help you by visiting slapstarter.com to vote.

Be sure to send a nice photo with your initial email. This photo will be posted on the slapstarter site and linked to your video. Cell phone poses and videos should be taken with phone held horizonally to avoid narrow pictures.

If you don't have the capabilities to edit, just email your beginning and ending videos along with still poses if that's the method you choose and we can put them together. A completed video is also acceptable.

Contestants will be notified when videos are uploaded so they can contact their social media friends to support them.

The number of contestants will be limited to a maximum of 20, so it's "first come, first serve".
